JUVÉDERM® is a family of Injectable Gel Fillers that are used to lift, smooth, plump, and contour the skin.
JUVÉDERM® products are composed of Hyaluronic Acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that functions to retain water and keep the skin hydrated, as well as Lidocaine, an anesthetic that helps reduce discomfort during treatment. JUVÉDERM® reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and facial folds that appear as Hyaluronic Acid diminishes to restore structure, framework, and volume.
The JUVÉDERM® family of fillers includes JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC, and JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA™ XC.
JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC
JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC is a thick and long lasting filler that is suitable for treating deep wrinkles, folds, and volume loss in the lips and areas around the mouth. Due to its thickness and versatility, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC can be often used as an alternative to lip implants as well as for the contour of the face.
The effects of JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC last for approximately 1 year.
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC is a very thick, longer lasting filler that is suitable for treating advanced volume loss and for the augmentation of the chin profile. As the name suggests, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC is great for adding volume while subtly lifting and contouring areas around the cheeks and chin.
The effects of JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC last for approximately 2 years.
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA™ XC
JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA™ XC is a smooth and malleable filler that is suitable for treating naturally thin lips and the restoration of thinning of lips. JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA™ XC enhances the fullness of the lips and smooths fine lines in the areas around the mouth, improving definition and restoring volume loss.
The effects of JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA™ XC last for approximately 1-2 years.
